Line is an app that allows you to receive and make free calls and send text messages.
If you like to communicate with other people, then this is an app that you'll benefit from using. Calls can be made and received in video format so that you can see the other person you're talking with or in a traditional format where you only hear the person's voice. Add stickers to the messages that you send to make them a bit more personal or to show a feeling that you have without using words all the time.
The app gives you a way to express what you're thinking in multiple formats. The easiest thing to do is send messages back and forth like you're texting. At times, the messages are delivered very slowly, so it takes a short time to get a response back. When you're calling someone, you have to speak up as the sound quality isn't that great.
